March 2022 Sketchbook & Life Update (Patreon)

Here's my sketchbook for March! 16 pages this month- a smaller one than usual, as I mentioned before this month has been extremely busy for me, which I'll go into more detail on below! I also want to say a quick welcome to all the new patrons who joined us this month- I hope you all enjoy your stay and thank you so much for being here! <3

Life Update

So, I've been so busy this month, because... me and my partner bought a house 😭🙌

If you're thinking 'how tf did you manage that' trust me I also feel that way LOL, I honestly never thought it would be something I'd be able to achieve in my life! 

It's very very small- 676 square feet, and its down two dirt roads, and its about 40 minutes to the nearest grocery store, all of which contributed to our luck in being able to get it. We also lucked out timing-wise because its in what's generally a summer cabin/seasonal area so nobody else was looking at the area at the same time! 

So basically March was extremely hectic because we were organizing inspections, talking to realtors/the bank/real estate lawyers, etc etc... I was convinced the bank was going to suddenly change their mind and deny us right up until the end, but we've now closed on it and its our's! We won't be moving in until near the end of April because we need to wrap up at our current jobs in the city, so April might be a bit busy for me too, but nowhere near as much as March was hahaha.

What this means for Sparks, etc...

So, with this move, I'm going to be quitting my current job at the pharmacy and making the move to working on Sparks full-time. This literally wouldn't be possible without the support of all of you, so I can't thank you enough, I never dreamed this could be a possibility when I started and I'm so excited! 

Don't feel as though I'm now relying on your patronage though LOL, this will be a sort of trial period to see how it works out and if I need to of course I'll find part-time work in the area and work on Sparks around that like I have been. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I can get done with it being my only focus, and I'd love to open an online store (whether its etsy or storenvy etc) for Sparks merch like prints, charms, stickers etc. 

So hopefully what this move means for you is a lot more content 😜 I'm so excited to start this new adventure and see where it goes! Thank you all again for being here with me! 💖
