Prequel mini update- sketches (Patreon)

Since I finished 15 pages of the comic early this month, I spent some time getting the prequel mini sketched! Thought I’d share the first 12 pages as a little update, saving the rest so some of it at least is more of a surprise when it’s finished 😛 

It’s been a bit of a struggle- kids are really hard to draw LOL I didn’t expect it to be such a challenge! It’s difficult to try and keep them looking consistent, but I think at this point I have to just go for it and hope it doesn’t end up looking distracting! Sketching the pages was good practice so hopefully when I get to inking it’ll feel a bit easier 💪 I‘m planning on using a bit of a softer inking style for this one as an experiment so we’ll see how that looks- I’ll share another update when I’ve gotten some inking done.
