their response to the line “who wants to see some magic” makes me so uncomfortable. from what we’ve seen so far [at least some of] the satyrs are nothing more than objects of instant amusement for humans. imagine leaving the academy after almost two decades, after you’ve had little to no contact with the other species, and all of the sudden you’re surrounded by all these humans who want you to do cool and sparkly magic tricks for them to see. like a circus animal or a domestic dog. it must suck. pallas on the other hand seems to enjoy all the attention he gets from them but considering how he grew up in that environment that’s all he knows... and there’s his personality too. he wouldn’t look all smug and content if he hated the situation he’s in. [HA HE HATES IT DOESN’T HE BUT HE HAS TO PRETEND HE’S OK WITH IT BECAUSE OF VASILIS]
