I'm extremely excited to finally share these photos with you!! 🫨 This has been a dream costume for so long, but there were so many road blocks in the way. Time, confidence, and motivation really delayed this costume. But I feel that it was for the best! I feel amazing and empowered wearing this and I think it shows. ❤️

I wanted the chainmail look but after finding out how much that would cost I looked into alternate ways to get the same look. In the end we 3D printed the scales in a very unique way. First was designing the scales, then printing the first few layers on the 3D printer. Once the base layer was down, we added a layer of nylon netting and continued the print. This sandwiched the net into place and the net held the individual scales together. Basically printing scale fabric! How cool!?

The Axe and Sword was 3D designed, printed, and painted. The shoulder armour and leg cuffs were made with a thermoplastic that allows you to heat it up and shape it. 

This version of Red Sonja is based off a design by DOCZENITH, but I swapped out her hair for the striking Red she has in the Comics.
