🔱 Aquaman - Preview Set (Patreon)

I am super pleased with how this costume turned out!

Aquaman 2 is coming out soon and I was asked to make a costume to wear to our Xmas Oz Comic Con. I only had 2 weeks to make this, thankfully I had everything needed on hand already (perks of a cosplayer I guess)

I was super nervous with the top, Aquaman has a full sleeve golden scale top that reflects the light beautifully. It is difficult to recreate this in the time frame I had while making it comfortable and easy to move in. Luckily I found a gold mesh fabric at my parents place and it was perfect to layer over a stretch gold. This gave the scale effect I wanted and was easy to put together.

The belt and Trident were 3D modelled, printed, and painted by Juggerknob. The outfit really wouldn't be the same without it.

I know I say this all the time but I really feel like this is one of my favourite costumes. I'm such a sucker for a classic comic costume.
