It will be interesting when you finally do a video on the full opening. I don't think I have ever heard it either, so it will be my first time listening to it, too.

I'm really glad you warmed up to Frederica, and just in time. Comparing this to Shin's brother leaving and dying is just really sad. And that speech into the operation starting is just one of the coolest moments. I was expecting another cool music drop during the launch but the the only sound being the creaking metal and the background noise was a nice touch

I'll be honest I had no idea Frederica gets any better, when I binged the show after you got to end of Part 1, I hated her so much at first I just skipped all the scenes she was in lol. It was more bearable with someone else watching haha.

So the stupidest craziest thing about the ground effect plane in this episode is that it's based off of some real airplanes from the 80s and 90s coming out of the Soviet regions. They were designing them to fly quickly over large bodies of water primarily, so the obstacles thing was less an issue. It still ended up presenting a ton of problems which is why you dont see them made today but it's conceptually a real thing.

I highly recommend your reaction to Sawano’s piece “4N” or “Shin” as it’s commonly known. One of my all time favorite pieces from Sawano. The voices Shin hears are always so eerie and give me the chills.
