That music hit at 11:40, so fucking good. Sawano's specialty. The speed of the transition between them talking and him finding Eugene is so effective. Shin gets up before the sirens, and Eugene is gone before the sirens even end. Plus going between two different shots of the locket is nice. It really hits me as a moment of "what could have been". There was the start of such a good and important friendship for Shin to have, and its gone just like that.

When you clapped for Frederica leaving hahaha, at least the comedic relief is working :D Eugene should've watched more TV, he was putting up death flags all lunch, poor guy.

2024-02-28 22:03:35 Lmao. Frederica's VA must be doing a good job then if you find her so annoying. Out of all the ones that voice children, Misaki Kuno is one of the best. Many others just end up sounding much older than the characters they are voicing.

o7 Rip Eugene... taken way too soon Shin does crazy things all the time so it doesn't seem too crazy to the audience but what he did at the start was equivalent to making an M1 Abrams do a back-flip, it was absolutely insane to do... I guess another thing to remember is that our current sensibilities make it so being called a "Reaper" is something cool, the the reality is that he is being called the the equivalent of a Plague, a bringer of death, and it is not a compliment. At the scene when they show the monument to the fallen 86, Raiden notices the number is one short of what it should be so he looks at Shin, he realises that Shin still hasn't put Rei properly to rest.
