Song at 1:20 is JaguarN0-10. A lot of the titles are sort of tech puns or ways of saying different things. This one could be read as "Juggernaut". You'll see it in the other titles on the sound track too, like a song called 4N being "Shin" since the japanese word for 4 is pronounced Shi, but you could also read it as "Foreign" and Sawano may have intended both meanings.

I don't know if you missed it. The neighbor kid that Lena's friend mocked as filthy colored was Shin. So Shin and his family used to be neighbors with her. The experiment that her dad originally conducted was with Shin's family because they have special abilities that let them communicate without talking (which is why Shin can hear the dead 86). That led to the invention of the Raid device that the country uses to communicate with the 86.

^ You can see some crayon drawings on the wall depicting him and his brother, and you can see the young Shin in the scene where the friend is talking about him, and it's the same Shin you see at the end of the episode when he's a kid with his brother.

Well now that the bean of Shin’s brother being a Shepard is out we can tell you that it was actually foreshadowed as early as ep1: after Kujo’s death scene Raiden asks shin “what about Brother’s voice?” meaning that he was asking shin if he heard the voice of his brother during the legion attack. A couple of cool symbolisms during the episode: we see the flowers in the 86 base finally all die now that the last members need to leave the base, they were slowly dying in multiple scenes since episode 3 where Kaie dies, as she was the one treating them. In similar fashion we see the board with Kujo’s days until retirement slowly fading away until we see the board wiped clean when they leave the base for the next batch of operators

Sawano went all out for this episode. The music was amazing! This story is beautifully told yet very tragic.
