The track is called “limitless cursed technique”

MfGoodnight

It is normal for anime characters to explain their techniques but in JJK specifically revealing your technique to an opponent boosts its effectiveness . So narratively it actually serves a purpose

Lijnaito2021 !

So one neat thing about telling your technique. Not only do we get to understand it as viewers, but it also makes the attack more powerful. Like for example, remember when Eso explained his "rot" technique to Nobora and then he said in his head that "now she'll die quicker because I've explained my technique" Whenever you explain your technique to your opponent, you get a significant boost and power accuracy etc. It's really cool little detail

Lijnaito2021 !

Also, I don't know if anybody's pointed this out to you, but the big buff guy that likes to gamble his voice actor is Zeke Jeager from aot and Dio from jojos

deadass my favorite track from the show (well until a certain theme that shows up later) was looking forward to seeing the reaction to it

Your not wrong about Gojo's techniques. This is why, in present time, he is considered the strongest jujustu sorcerer of modern times by a lot. But since this is a flashback, Gojo still hasnt mastered his techniques. Which is why the girl was able to slap him and why he failed his Red technique at the end

The music this season is so good man. Looking forward to you hearing it as you watch.

It's funny to see the contrast between the comedic relief like this very silly school scene compared to the brutal violence and death we have seen earlier in the show.

Curval

great reaction as always

Im not sure if you missed it, but the fushigoro dude was called, ‘Sorcerer Killer’, by his colleague.

For future reference, the post credit scenes are random dialogue that kinda pertains to the story at times, but if you pay attention to the visuals then those show scenes for the next episode, so its better to just focus on the subtitles or just skip them as they're not really important. Sadly no juju scrolls this season either

To be even more specific, it forms a pact between the user and the target, and pacts usually are having disadvantages to gain advantages. "You now know my technique, I gain a power boost". There are powers that are not worth boosting, like Todo's Boogie Woogie. That's why, in Yuji and Todo VS Hanami (the tree curse), Todo kept giving incomplete and deceiving explanations. I do not know if the technique revealing pact is permanent or only lasts for the remaining of the battle (relevant if there's a rematch).

Man I love this arc's intro so much I was sad when you skipped it. I mean I get why you skipped it, I just love to watch it any chance I get haha, it's soooo good. I was also confused when buff guy (I don't think they've said his name yet so not including it here lol) was asked about Megumi on my first watch-through, hopefully it will be clearer in the coming episodes for you. Can't wait for more reactions to season 2! It's gonna be amazing, hold onto your seat lol

Marcus

So you ended up deciding to not watch the opening visuals? 😢😂

carnito

Well they also said in the show , when you explain how your technique works you get a boost to it as well

kayleb

gojos always feeling himself lol

“A boat race! Like a horse race, but cooler” I found it rly funny that u said this cuz in the manga of jjk, Toji is at a horse race instead of a boat race. Making this an anime only scene
