The OST is prob one of my fav of all anime. It has 2 composers. Hideki Taniuchi did the guitar stuff and Yoshihisa Hirano did the orchestral ones. (The band Nightmare did the openings and endings.) For Hideki, my favorite ones are "Light's Theme", "L's Theme" (A and B), and "Kyomei". For Yoshihisa, "Domine Kira", "Teleology of Death", and "Low of Solipsism" are great.

I know this is very late, but the song you asked the name for is called 黒いライト (Kuroi Light) which translates to “Black/Dark Light” but just searching “kuroi light death note ost” should bring it up.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a reactor who actually supports Light. I don’t support him, but It’s an interesting change.
