Thanks for your reaction to Death Note bro. I've watched it 4 times, one of my favourites, and I'm very glad you're enjoying it despite of the last episode lol One suggestion: you can watch Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's an anime classic, one that roots very deep into your heart once you've watched it with the characters, the story and the incredible OST by Shiro Sagisu. It came from Hideaki Anno's deppresion though, so be ready to "feel" it rather than watch it, if it makes any sense! It truly can change a person's understanding of life, imo.
