If you are a big fan of those spider tanks and how they move, you might be interested to know there is an anime out there that also has spider tanks. I would not be surprised if the "Think tanks" from Ghost in the Shell gave inspiration to these combat spider tanks. While not as bulky as the ones in 86, they have similar mobility.

FYI. The opening changes as the episodes goes by. It's one second and it's merely informative about "some" events that I won't spoil. Look it up if you like.

I know you tend to skip the OP and ED, but for this series it is common for both to change slightly between episodes. I don't think you would miss to much skipping it, but it is a cool thing to see.

Definitely appreciate your pauses to absorb all of the information. The action scenes are really cool but the main point is the story being told. I’m excited to continue this watch. I really enjoy your reactions.

You're learning 2 very important mech anime rules in this show 1. If you want something to sound cool name it a random German word. 2. ONLY children are allowed to pilot weapons of mass destruction lol

without spoiling anything, the handler is supposed to be the information and tactical overview for those on the ground. She is the one who will inform the team when the enemy is on the move and then get them ready for the fight. But Spearhead is unique, for some reason they always seem to know before the handler does when the enemy is on the move! Glad youre enjoying the series so far, looking forward to the next ep!

I see some others already mentioned it but the ED is definitely worth watching each episode. The art/color changes when the chorus hits and it's usually a pretty meaningful reference. I can't remember the exact episode number off the top of my head but one of them really stuck with me since first watching. Not to mention the song is probably my favorite ED of all time.
