This song is the 2nd ending song for Bocchi the Rock. It never played in the actual show, just the ED.

yeah, it feels like each album cover is whats emphasized in the song. in this case, Ryo the bassist. If you listen to the other songs its similar too

many of bocchi's songs were composed by prominent jrock bands. this one was done by the singer of tricot, which is known for their math rock style and weird chords, which you heard in the intro. definitely worth checking out for anyone who enjoys this one.

tricot have been an obsession of mine for a while so seeing them composing one of the songs from this show was awesome - I would LOVE to see a reaction to some of their stuff like artsick where the drums especially are really prevalent. For reference, this song is sung by Ryo's voice actress (the bassist and cover girl for this song), with the bass also having a massive role in the song. There's actually a scene in ep 9 where Nijika shakes Ryo's head and there's a sound of her 'tiny brain rattling around in there', to which Nijika suggests using that sound in one of the songs - the name of this song is actually meant to represent the onomatopoeia of something 'rattling' , with karakara literally also meaning 'empty' (referencing ryo's head)

This song was written and composed by ikkyu nakajima who is the vocalist/guitarist of Tricot (a Japanese math rock band) I think it was used as the 2nd ending song

This is where if I had the patreon tier to make requests I would have him check out tricot's Audiotree session

Looks like Tony gotta listen to some tricot now.

Theres a dude on youtube who has covered i think almost all of the bocchi songs, and not just one but both guitar parts and even the bass! Might want to check him out, here’s his cover of karakara if you’re interested https://youtu.be/DgPCLow6z2I

I didn't know Tricot's frontwoman had a hand in this! This makes me love it even more.

Thanks for the upload! All these new insights from other commenters is really cool to read. I love playing this song for my kids wrestling class cause it's upbeat and makes me feel like I wanna jump around. Happy to hear your thoughts and that you liked it.

Average we get like 15-20 kids. Big days we’ll have 30-35! I hope I spread a bit of musical influence to them.
