by the way im not fully sure but I think the second section rolls are quintuplets, not triplets. I'm only going off of when I played this in rhythm games

You are correct about not being fully sure. LOL The pulse is 100% 8th note triplets. What you are referring to as 5s is the 5-stroke rolls that they do a couple of times. There are more tap drags in that section than anything But, those fives are all based on 8th-note triplets.
