Welp.
The last 15 seconds of this episode finished the tone that was teased the entire way... and of course... we are left wondering about Stark

Just listened to Ayana Wang play Flight of the Bumblebee. Heard the song before but she’s something else.

The necklace belonged to the leader of the town (Graf Granat) which was given to Stark. It's a family crest in a way which symbolizes honor, family, and status. It is implied that Aura the Guilloutine disrespects their honor by making these knights into her own puppets, which is why Frieren called her magic "disgusting".

The way the weapon summoning was used to chain attacks was such a cool part of the fight. Using the spear to throw from mid-air, using it to land without losing momentum, into the knife throw was such a well done little sequence. It's a shame she was evil and had to go

I hope he makes it man

I've been holding off watching this episode so I could watch it here first! Thanks for the reaction, it was fun!

I cant wait for the soundtrack to be released. I love the music in this show.

The reason I think Stark is fine is something he kind of implied at the end of the fight: Her attacks had no weight behind them. Basically her attacks weren't hitting as deep as they looked like they should be. IRL that final attack could possibly be deep enough to be fatal but in a world with healing magic it's probably just a flesh wound.

And also in D&D terms, warriors usually have more defense than other classes. Stark has even MORE defense since he was always getting beaten by one of the strongest warriors of all time, his mentor, Eisen.

Honestly yeah haha. Just hypothesizing at this point. But we can't have a mage only team lol.

maybe he put levels into Barbarian for the physical resistances

The necklace is Graf's family emblem. He said his son was killed fighting Aura then you see the same emblem on the knight who temporarily broke Auras spell. The night that had the will to temporarily break her spell was his son.

One cool detail I just learned was that the director for this show is the same director for Bocchi the rock (which was his directorial debut), so he's been knocking it out of the park.

If Ferun's opponent was playing against her on table top, he'd be like "Wow, you really invested all your points into cast speed? That's pretty stupi.....wait, why do you need that many dice?"
