I think the veil is there so the public doesn't see what's going on. Same reason the guy tells the mom that someone put poison gas in the school. The public doesn't know about curses

Remember in episode 2, Gojo described Sukuna as the literal 'King of Curses' so as of now he's the most powerful curse we know. Hence why that special grade was child's play to him

Also in my experience in anime whenever there's a "does this symbol/gesture mean something" it's almost always that it just looks cool lol.

The F sound in Japanese is present but much more subtle when compared to the English F. In Japanese it's more like if you merged the F and H sound together. Try making the F sound but don't let your top teeth make contact with your bottom lip. So Fushiguro is spelt correctly but in that particular scene, Itadori just so happen to put more emphasis on the H sound than the F.

The inside of the detention center at the time the trio enters the building will change to whatever properties the innate domain of the special grade curse possesses. I doubt the inside of the detention center normally looks like a sewer too lol.

In many asian cultures hand signs are a way of channeling spiritual or inner energy, and so anime often incorporate them when characters are doing techniques or casting abilities because the hand signs help them channel whatever "energy" is the special power of that series. As for the meaning of specific hand signs in the real world, you got me.

Yuji is conscious of everything that goes on, but he's just along for the ride. Normally, he can switch back at will and stop Sukuna before he does anything, but in this instance Sukuna noticed that Yuji wasn't swapping back and so since he has some time of free reign, as you can tell by that sadistic smile at the end he is very very happy.

yeah, its almost a more breathy sound and from what Ive seen the emphasis on the F or H depends on the following vowel + accent/speech pattern of said speaker. But as for why its always written as an F is to do with official romanisation rules, its just to represent the sound set that 'hiragana' comes from.
