Great video! I believe this was the ending song for the anime Higashi no Eden from 2009. Also a small youtube tip I was meaning to mention. Rather than clicking the pause button, you can press the spacebar or “k” to pause and unpause. You can also go back a few seconds using the arrow keys.

I'm fully aware of how to use the keys. I just don't like the click of the space bar that sometimes overrides the noise gate

It's here!! The band School Food Punishment broke up sometime in the 2012 but their lead vocalist Yumi Uchimura went on to make a new group called La La Larks. She's also done some other songs with other Japanese bands. Their bassist was Hideaki Yamasaki. I'm not sure what other songs he has under his belt.

I forgot about Eden of the East. What a wild anime that was. Forgot to watch the ending movie. Might have to give it a re watch sometime.

My school lunch was packed for me most of the time. It was very rare that I would ever get cafeteria food. So no interesting stories there.

I remember school cafeteria green beans looking particularly unappetizing. Cereal/pop-tarts ranked pretty high but of course those were breakfast items only (and technically the cafeteria didn't actually "make" it).

Yeaaaaa, I'm gonna be going through their whole discography after this one hahaha. Banger recommendation.

Best cafeteria food: cheese-filled baked pretzels Worst cafeteria food: everything else...

I joined the Patreon just to watch this because I remember loving this band. Thanks for requesting this, and for the tip on the La La Larks.

Thanks. Enjoy your YT. Actually how I found Band Maid, related vid off of your reaction to Work. Will always be grateful to you for that. I'd kind of written them off because of the maid outfits, but you really helped me to appreciate them, and rhythm sections more generally. I'd always been a vocals guy, but the fact that you barely talk about them actually provides a ton of value for me as someone learning to appreciate more about music. Your background as an educator, I think, really sets you apart in the reaction scene.
