Also the main cast in the dub is great so keep it. Plus, like all old anime dubs the random side characters have insanely bad voice work so that adds to the fun

Definitely keep watching the dub. It's one of the best dubs ever made and you can hear that the voice actors gave it. They're all. Light Sounds like a freaking psychopath

Dont wanna spoil anything but later on the series, sub becomes much better than dub. This is especially true with Light’s iconic laugh. (not a spoiler but people that watched will get it).

See what's crazy is most of the time you'll get a bunch of hate for looking at a dub, but there's like two dubs in the industry that even dub and sub watchers can both agree that the dub is perfectly fine. It's this one and it's Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. Both are widely regarded as the best dubs in the entire anime industry. So whenever you get around to Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, keep that in mind as well

The Dub for this actually pretty goated, some people prefer the sub for some parts but both are amazing in their own ways so do what’s comfortable for you cause either way it’s a crazy ride

Wow, didn't expect to hear ghost train mentioned. I remember that was a really fun one to play. Give a trombone player some glissando and they are happy I must admit lol. My mind went to o fortuna, but the music definitely has that epic sound to it. And I think the Dub is perfectly fine for this one. It was well done.

Miyano Mamoru is great. He always excels, but some of my favorite roles of his are Okabe Rintaro (Steins Gate) and Setsuna F. Seiei (Gundam 00).

Around 2:34 you mention it wouldn't be called Gregorian Chant. What would be a more appropriate word to describe the choral part? Or simply just "badass choral music" lol? I always referred to this part as "Gregorian Chant", but now that you say it, GC is more modal, yes?

after watching the show in german and japanese, english sounds very goofy in my opinion haha. the difference in voice acting is very interesting
