There's definitely gonna be a season 2 considering how successful it was both in Japan and abroad, though nothing official yet.

Bocchi the Rock Season 2 hasn't been greenlit yet, but from what I've seen online through a brief google search, its almost guaranteed to get a season 2

These have been really fun, cant wait for the last couple episodes. Also a little tid-bit: most of the episode titles (besides #8) are references to song names from a classic indie j-rock band "Asian kung-fu generation" who has one of their songs covered in the last couple episodes, so look forward to that.

There's a special event in Japan for Bocchi later this month, so it's certainly possible S2 gets announced there. Regardless it's probably a matter of when and not if it will get one

Yeah the time signature thing must have been lost in translation. Funnily enough the second ending 'karakara' does have some odd times, which may be fun to check out.
