If you like blood, gore, and crazy shenanigans, I highly recommend Dorohedoro. Same animation studio, and it's absolutely wild and super creative.

I love how the scene on the train abruptly cuts to Makima just standing there smiling and covered in blood like something out of a horror movie 😂 she is genuinely terrifying (in a number of ways) and I really enjoy watching her Also I feel bad for the lady that was taken hostage by that one goon and then got drenched in his blood. That’s some trauma for life right there

I think Makima lied about not getting shot because she wanted to keep it a secret that one of her power is that she can revive. She seems to be hiding a lot of things. Also when Kobeni was apologizing to denji about trying to kill him, it was back during the Eternity Devil in the hotel. She and Arai were trying to sacrifice Denji.

That girl at the end was the one that tried to stab denji in the infinite hotel btw. I'm guessing she spent all her points on speed, so she has a low mind score, which is probably why she's so timid and gets scared so easily.

Himeno said several episodes ago that Kobeni is talented but her personality isn’t exactly built for the horror that comes with the job (and she already said she didn’t even want the job, she was forced into it). Tbf I think most people would probably act like her if they were in the same position, as much as they don’t want to admit it lol

2023-05-07 10:39:37 Regarding the OST for the show, the composer is Kensuke Ushio. Some really popular shows he's done music for include Devilman Crybaby, A Silent Voice, and Ping Pong The Animation. I tried searching for the soundtrack with the underwater sounds but I don't think it's released yet. There are two volumes released so far, and I think it'll be included in volume 3. I saw an article stating volume 3 will be released on the 28th of this month. It's either that or her devil contract results in speed and cause her to loose mental stability .... but there are a TON of theories about Kobeni and no real clues for sure yet what here real deal is.

A series of one piece openings would be pretty cool... they have been continuously producing one piece since 2000... so there are 24 openings now (25 or more if you count special episodes) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQXaQzRoKsY is one of my favorites (dreamin on) its pretty upbeat and fits the show really well... 24th opening I dislike personally. Not all the Openings are great honestly skip them if you aren't feeling it lol so does everyone else!

The song when Kobeni appears is "the devil appears" by Kensuke Ushio. The OST overall is pretty impressive in my opinion.
