The running joke in the community is that guilty gear is a rock album with a free game. It's even more insane that Daisuke Ishiwatari is the og creator, lead developer, lead Artist, and lead composer for every game since 1998! Strive being his magnum opus to the franchise. Hence he wrote a vocal track for each character he created that fit them thematically! Usually sung by NAOKi from the band Outrage or for female vocals AISHA.
