I don't know if anime awards were happening back when Code geass came out, but this OST definitely deserves some recognition for how good it can be.

I'm glad you watched the anime and not the 3 movie adaptations. They change a good bit, even making Shirley irrelevant to the overall story. Watched CG 10+ times, and this hurts every time. That and the Euphie part. Oh and the Intro is new!

Yeah, they’re meant to be more like fan service films but I think the new Code Geass series is a continuation from the same universe those movies set up. However I think making them AU was the best way to not make fans angry about changing the original story. Probably just good to watch if you want Code Geass content when you’re bored lol. I do wanna recommend the Akito the Exiled OVAs to see a reaction sometime in the future maybe? The music and OST for that were amazing as well as the insert songs by Maaya Sakamoto.

This is that point in the story where you buckle up because all the set up for the final climax is gonna start. I’ve seen the anime so many times but I always get nervous after this point lol
