yeah dont worry about post-credits stuff, i dont think this show ever does that. anyway, pretty fucked up episode indeed, i like it when this show gets dark though.

The scene, where Ed finds out the truth about the chimara and all was even more dramatic and dark in the first anime... although I think this might have just been too traumatizing for the audience, so they toned it down in Brotherhood

These types of anime really love to shock you when you don't expect it. Lighthearted stuff at first turns into... this. One Piece does it really well. I hope you'll consider watching it when the new anime comes out (it's in the works), 'cause I know over a 1000 episodes is overwhelming (I think you said it yourself somewhere).

Looked this up for you, it's the list of episodes with post-credits scenes because there are actually a decent amount. 6, 8, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49 I'd say just copy this into a note you can have somewhere for convenience so you don't have to worry about spoiling yourself with previews.

Trust me, mate, you'll end up fully liking this series. And, based on your preferences, I'd say you'd LOVE Berserk, but it's a manga that's yet to be graced with a decent anime adaptation, so maybe you'd like to read the manga in your own time for now. Great reaction, mate!
