Noveria

One of the most visually appealing episodes of anime period. Also one of the saddest. This one made me tear up but there's another episode later that straight up made me cry 😂

FullHeart

ah fuck. Ill watch this one tomorrow I cant be sobbing before I sleep

No matter how many times I rewatch this series...I always cry lmao

Chelle

And you’re not even at the episode this anime is most known for 😂

skrrt

Hot take but I enjoyed this part more than the rest of the story, including both movies.

Chelle

tbf most people have different favorite parts to this story lol

Anything sad with kids absolutely ruins me, but man that "I am on fire" scene completely destroyed me when I saw it. I can't think those words without my eyes stinging just a tiny bit

It's absolutely insane to see the progress Violet has gone through. It's been such a slow growth that you dont even really notice she's that different episode to episode, but when the fire scene comes up and see how absolutely mechanical she used to be compared to now. Like she's still got a lot of room to grow but she's human now.

I absolutely love that you enjoy anime that are not strictly about the music but rather for the music thats in them. Since you mentioned Vivy a couple of times now i think you really should play Nier Automata. Not only did it win best music of the year in 2017 but it also beat Persona 5 which has equally good music. Also the main character is voiced by Voilets VA as well. When it comes to anime you should watch Made in Abyss (its not a "fun" watch but its absolutely amazing). I'm sure you will be lost in the ost as well. Kevin Penkin doesnt miss and MiA is his magnum opus.

Ryo

Agreed, Made in Abyss is one hell of a ride. Visually stunning yet appalling, musically fantastical yet mysterious. Truly an adventure that knows no bounds.

Daniel

Definitely, and that's what makes it such a great work, too. Different parts are equally extremely cathartic for different people for often personal reasons.
