This was animated by Wit Studio. The ones that made Season 1, 2 and 3 of Attack on Titan. Then it changed to MAPPA (practically same staff tho, they just changed studios) for Season 2 just like with AOT in S4

This show is UNREAL good. So glad we're starting. For what it's worth, most of the major events in this anime are historical. It's a saga style story though so much like Beowulf, Volsunga Saga, or King Arthur the characters are bigger than real life. "Inspired by historical events"

So how do you know which anime you watch in Japanese or in English? Some English voice overs for some shows, are actually done well. Vikings with the Japanese accent is a bit something, in my opinion. English has a more Game of Thrones vibe.

It’s from a manga which is ongoing and excellent. The second anime season ends around chapter 100. Everyone is human but there are allowances for some pretty superhuman feats by some characters I think to lend it a “legendary” feel
