I do think Re:Zero is a good show. The main character starts off making questionable decisions, but he does mature and show a lot of character growth!

Tony, Goblin Slayer is very controversial for some very very tasteless scenes. I won't spoil but if you did watch it ever, i don't think you'd want to finish it.

I voted for mob but expect violet to win (understandably, I love it too.) That said, you may find it to be a bit slow. Absolutely worth the watch, but I'm 50/50 on if you'll like it (beyond the obviously incredible music, of course).

Violet Evergarden is a great show, and certainly deserving of a win here (if it does)! For me though, Mob psycho might be one of the best, most consistently excellent anime I've ever seen. It's a fantastic adaptation to a concise, well-written story that manages to stick the landing on pretty much every plot / character point it sets up.

The pacing is slower than a lot of action-based anime, but I'd say it is about the same as many you've seen already. Music is composed by Evan Call, same guy who did Frieren's OST. It's animated by KyoAni, the same studio that animated Sound! Euphonium, if you didn't already know. One of my favs as well, hope you enjoy it if it wins!

For me it's the characterization. What certain characters go though, and how they change. I think it also does a good job taking on the shounen hero mindset because of what happens. Can't really say much else without potentially spoiling for others who might see this comment
