Enjoyed that fight sequence quite a bit. Fun anime to watch. Simple story.

I think Kang was a mirror image version of Sung Jinwoo as a way to show us what could happen if he continues down this path of darkness, which was really cool to see

Idk why they didn’t show it in the anime but in the manhwa Sung Jin Woo went back to where the prisoners were killed cuz it turned out that the prisoner with the long black hair was pretending to be dead but survived with his vocal cords cut up and with his body pretty injured. Jin Woo then proceeded to drag the survivor into the boss room filled with goblins where he threw him in there in front of goblins and watched him get gruesomely murdered and afterwards he swiftly killed all the goblins and the boss.

Haha sung jinwoo unleashed his domain expansion 🤞 But yeah all jokes aside this manwha/anime focuses more on action than story, and while the story does improve a bit later on, it got popular because of the fights and the art. People who never read it expected the anime to be like attack on Titan levels of storytelling and writing and as a result led to it being "over hyped" but not everything has to be complex like that. Glad you enjoy the simple stuff. The fights are gonna get crazier though that's for sure, hopefully A1 Pictures does them justice which from what we've seen I think it's in good hands

Some of the minor things I really liked that aren't necessarily big story changes but I loved that we got to see Song actually defend himself and fight before getting Jinwoo involved. I knew Jinwoo wouldn't let someone he was cool with die as long as he's there but we could've just as easily not gotten Song's fight and just skipped to the main character. Makes the side characters feel like even tho they aren't as strong as Jinwoo, they aren't completely useless since he was able to kinda hold his own Sword Skill wise against a B-Rank.
