Pink Uncovered (Patreon)

As you can probably tell, the last month or so has been all about that quiet little rabbit from a content perspective. I promise to move onto Green in a few weeks' time, but in the meantime, let me tell you all about Pink. The image above is one of my favourites. I was struggling to find a picture of him that I hadn't shared yet, so I cropped a NSFW one. The yiffy version is at the end of the wall of text below. 

Firstly, to the simple stuff: Pink has an INFP personality type, making him an idealist: the kind of person who would spend days weighing up the larger consequences of his actions on the outside world. He's very serious about life and takes his responsibilities very seriously.

He's also a Dandere in Anime parlance, meaning he's a quiet character who might end up surprising you in the end. I suppose some of his behaviours could be interpreted as tsudere as well. You first meet him in the bar having a quiet drink, later on exercising alone in the gym, in the library or thinking alone in the garden. He's always alone, always looking like the weight of the world is on his shoulders.. because it is!

What is not apparent at the beginning of the game is that Pink is in fact the captain of the ship, as well as the prince of the constitutional monarchy that all our characters find themselves in. He's responsible for getting the ship war-ready in time to fight his father's war, something he's not too keen on.

Pink is not used to being spoken to at all, let alone being spoken down to as Red does because the fox doesn't know any better. 

This strange behaviour from the fox, combined with the fact that Pink has a particular love of foxes means that Pink finds Red increasingly irresistible. 

Looking into his home life, Pink definitely has issues with his father the king. The king (currently unnamed) has embarked upon this campaign to build an armada of ships to protect the Lunar world from aliens they have detected from another planet. 

By the end of episode 1, Pink has decided he's going to go against his family's wishes and try prevent the war. This is a big step for him considering that for rabbits family is everything and as a part of a royal family, his responsibility is for unity, not an effective coup. 

The broader arc of the 3 or 4 episodes I have planned for the game are set against the backdrop of Pink's defiance of his father's wishes, his family's wishes and his betrayal of his whole home world for what he believes is the morally right thing to do. 

I haven't decided yet but I think Pink's mother is a source of strength for him, but she's somehow inaccessible to him, either due to death or maybe she's just off doing some important work somewhere else. 

Pink has a super cute stutter which he is very embarrassed about and a la the Kings's Speech he has had many years of expensive training to get him to avoid stuttering. he still stutters from time to time when he's embarrassed or stressed.
