Happy Wednesday, my friends!

Here's a simple drawing of Kara floating to, I can only suspect, some merry, holiday melodies. Doodled in between a million other things I have going on this week (many of them also spent listening to holiday melodies). It actually started as a quick wind-down sketch of an ice skater but very quickly evolved into a drawing of Supergirl instead. I didn't think anyone would mind.

The days before Christmas are always so hustley bustley but this year feels even more hustley bustley than usual. Looking forward to slowing down next week. Only a few more days!

How DO you keep coming up with adorable new outfits for Supergirl? All are fun, appropriate, attractive — and unique! Kara’s the best dressed super on the planet. And no matter what she wears, she’s automatically recognizable as Supergirl. Superhero uniforms are UNIFORM as a visual cue. You deliberately toss away that crutch, but Kara is always Kara! The ultra-recognizable long blonde hair and “S” logo both help, of course. But I still marvel at your ability. (Not that Babs doesn’t get her moments, certainly.) I still would love to know if this approach would work on a regular monthly comic, or would it be just too hard to maintain? I’d sure like to see it attempted. At any rate, I’m certainly no fashion devotee — but I love seeing what you will come up with next.

If I was to ever work on any sort of book with her, she would definitely continue to change outfits constantly. It's just more fun that way! :)

So cute! I love that your wind-down sketches so often end up being casual versions of Babs or Kara.
