80's Boom Boom (Patreon)

All right! Let's kick off the new week with a blast--or rather, a boom--or rather a BOOM BOOM (or Boomer, or Meltdown or Time Bomb or whatever she likes to be called on any given Monday).

There is just so much color and accessorizing going on here which I actually think suits Tabitha pretty well. If you cycle though the images above, you can also see an alternate version where I gave her some rad late-80's shades. I'm glad I got rid of them to show her eyes though (the eyeshadow is more fun anyhow). Was trying to channel a bit of teenaged Drew Barrymore for her look. Not sure if I quite captured that our not. Haha.

Speaking of, not sure if anyone has noticed, but with all of these newer x-girls I've been sharing over the past couple of weeks, I was working to make sure all of their faces differed, even if slightly. I personally think the "sameness" in how I sometimes draw faces is one of the weaker aspects of my art. Sharing and looking back at these pinups makes me feel like it's something I maybe need to get back to working at.

Also, total coincidence, but decided to share a little warm-up sketch across the socials this morning (one that I posted on here way back in April). Realized while putting together this Boom Boom post that they're both wearing Xavier Institute shirts! So since it fits with X-Tember I thought I'd share that sketch again for you.
