Here's we go! Daily X-Girl posts start today. Hopefully it doesn't overwhelm your inboxes.

I know I said I was going to begin the week with some x-villains but I thought since I posted Scott and Jean on Friday, it'd be fun to post their future daughter today instead.

This is also where these x-girls officially stopped being straight fanart of classic costumes and more a medley of various 80's fashion choices. It was a lot of fun and likely what lead to me wanting to draw more everyday style clothing on superheroes in the years since.

A lot of the clothing choices--as well as hairstyles--were suggested by the patron who commissioned all of these with the freedom for me to kind of mix-and match and change stuff as needed. Before drawing, I made "fashion maps" for all of these pinups which I thought I saved but can't for the life of me find anymore. Either I threw them out because I decided I was done with them (which is unfortunately pretty likely) or they're just buried in some random folder somewhere. I'll keep looking and will be sure to share any that I find.

I should, however, be able to share the rough sketches or pencils for most of these so those will be included above.

This sends me right back to Alan Davis’s Excalibur during the Inferno saga. Rachel erupting through the lighthouse shouting, “Nathan!!!” and flying off to her baby brother. 🔥 ❤️ 🔥

One of my favorite underappreciated characters!
