Spidersona! (pew pew) (Patreon)

Hi all!

Not sure where it started (likely due to how incredible the new Spider-Verse movie was), but folks have been sharing their spidersonas again this week. I actually never came up with one. Mostly because it would pretty much be how I normally draw Spidey, only maybe wearing a Star Wars shirt or something. And then realized, well maybe I should just draw that*, and--very quickly--took a much needed break and drew the dumb little doodle above after spending all day, well...drawing Spider-Man.

Speaking of which, I apologize in advance for the potential decrease of new art this month. I'm seriously behind on layouts for the third novel, have a hard deadline for cover sketches, and feverishly prepping for HeroesCon next week (not to mention my two boys being out of school and parentally trying to keep them from sitting around on iPads all day long).

All in all, I'm starting to recall why I stopped doing conventions. There's just so much work, expense (monetary + time) and mental energy for something that I'm not quite sure is even worth it. I'm also remembering that I always have an amazing time once I'm there so trying to hold on to that.

Still, despite what is sure to be an extra busy few weeks, hoping to hammer out a few fun posts as usual. Even it's just some dumb little doodles like above. :)

*Would still love to do something a little more creative and polished. Someday!
