Hi, friends!

Here's a little Poison Ivy watercolor to hopefully brighten up your week midway through. It was originally intended to be next week's Happy Monday sketch but after drawing it I decided it would work much better if I colored it traditionally. I even remembered to snap some pics of my process as I was painting, which you can see above.

For anyone who might be interested in the original, I'll post the usual private auction tonight or tomorrow (for Wild Space Cats).

Someone here also asked if I could show what watercolors I use so I also managed to remember to take a pic of my work setup.

Pretty simple! As you can see, I'm using Prang sets, some of the least expensive watercolors you can buy. I've never felt the need to upgrade because I'm consistently happy with how bright and colorful I can get with them. And since they aren't costing me an arm and a leg, I don't mind being a little wasteful with them.

The brushes here are size 4 and 6 round media ones. I don't know where I got them but I'm sure they weren't expensive either. And then waterproof microns for inking.

Speaking of watercolors, I kind of had to put offering commissions on hold for a few weeks due to my last graphic novel deadline. I feel really bad about this. But I plan on offering a bunch in August and September to make up for it. So keep an eye on your inboxes for that.

Have a great rest of the week!
