Hi, my friends!

Like many this past weekend I was saddened to hear about the passing of Akira Toriyama. His artwork has brought me countless smiles over the years and his influence on so many of my art heroes is legendary. My timelines were filled to the brim with thoughtful words and, perhaps more enjoyably, tons of his amazing art. Lots and lots of his fantastic, tiny vehicles and even a few tribute drawings of Goku on his Flying Nimbus. I was so in love with all of it I wasn't able to focus on my own stuff until drawing a little tribute drawing as well. I'm glad I did. It was fun, came together rather quickly and was a nice way to end the week. Thought I'd share the timelapse of it for you this Sunday afternoon.

RIP Toriyama. I'll never stop smiling at your work.  💛
