Back from PAX & Goal #1 (Patreon)
Content
We're back from PAX. Looks like we've picked up a number of new subscribers -- thank you for your support of our content!
We've been quiet on YouTube since Monday (or thereabouts) due to travel, but the team is fully home and (somewhat) rested now. I will be working with Keegan, our video editor/film guy, over the next few days to produce this content:
- Ask GN episode 3 (have any questions?)
- Logitech G633 headset review
- Vertagear gaming chair review
- EVGA Mini ITX Z170 motherboard review
- Some secret content we can't yet discuss!
- Bloopers reel #1
Thanks again for your tremendous support and patience while we traveled. I took a four-day vacation and went up to Whistler mountain for some downhill biking, Patrick took some time to sleep, and Keegan's been watching an endless amount of video (he calls it "studying" for GN videos). We've posted some articles lately that we're really proud of, with the main one being Patrick Stone's HTC Vive deep dive. You can read that here:

Patrick also looked at castAR, which is pretty neat:

We had a lot of fun doing group videos at PAX, but had issues with audio when filming in a not-hotel location. This, thankfully, will be resolved now that we've met our first Patreon goal! I'm looking into the purchase of lav mics (clip-on mics) for future group or solo videos. This will drastically increase audio quality when working in a non-isolated setting.
Thanks again for the support! More to come soon.
Bonus photo of my trip to Whistler! Gotta recharge for more GN work, right?
- Steve.
