(This is still processing -- give it some time to get 1080p & 4K)

We filmed 4 videos in a day, plus work all day long to prep those videos. As a result, you get a special Sleep Deprived Patrons Ask GN video, our new SDPAGN series. Enjoy!

00:43 – FourthTuna: “@Steve Burke YOu have made a bunch of detailed content about FF XV. Can we expect more of game-related content? Personally, I would like to.”

04:04 – Blaank: “@Steve Burke How many camera and microphone batteries do you have and how many do you go through in a typical day of floor coverage?”

06:12 – Zeta: “@Steve Burke #askgn-questions Do you gain performance on a CLC (or any radiator) by sealing the gap between the fan frames and the radiator?”

07:45 - iManny99: “@Steve Burke Do you have equipment to test airflow and static pressure? If so, can you test push vs pull vs push/pull static pressures with different fin density radiators? Thanks. #askgn-questions”

09:16 – inversion: “@Steve Burke #askgn-questions Fantasy question. If ever Linus :Linus: invites you to become a participant of the next Scrapyard Wars season, assuming this is a duo vs duo, who would you prefer as a partner? And also theoretically speaking what theme do you expect for the next season?”

11:36 - Static Albatross: “@Steve Burke #askgn-questions I just purchased a mod mat. I didn’t feel I really needed one, but months of direct and indirect advertising along with the new color scheme pushed me over the edge. Anyways, is something like a heat gun (for loosening adhesive on phones) safe for the mat and the printing on the mat? Actually can you also state the mat’s maximum safe temperature, assuming you have that information available.”

Patrons Ask GN 8, Tired Edition: Testing Static Pressure for Fans

#AskGN Would you ever consider joining Floatplane? Why or why not?

wondering if it would help an intake fan to have some space between it and the filter. That way it would be able to spread the pressure better over a larger area of the filter thinkinking about just a square 140x140x20mm frame that would mount somewhat airtight to the filter side and then the fan on the other side giving some space for the fan, guessing it would also reduce noise a bit. you are welcome to make a GN produced version of this if it works with some rubber coating etc it would even have vibration dampening quality to it. Same goes for pushing air through a radiator as current config has some dead spots, but yeah not everyone will have the extra space for this, and guess you would need more space for push. maybe you even need more than 20mmfor pull maybe 40mm is required. The rubber coating of the frame could even help the fan to get a better seal on the sides. guess it would be possible to 3d print a prototype, but maybe you just have something lying around that could help test this.
