Here's an easy example. Watch how the price of something you always buy goes up in price. They do it in several ways. It was $1 last week and is "on sale" this week for $1.29. No big deal, right? Wrong. It's a 30% increase. Then check the amount of goods you're receiving. You'll find that the same portion that was $1 and now on sale for $1.29 is probably smaller. Just one easy observation I see.
