Elder Doug while hunting bag this Buck! Myself and Elder Dowell Sr. and Brother Sammy are Skinning and Butchering this Buck. We will soon enjoy some very nice Venison.

Have you ever tried hanging the field dressed deer by the front legs. Cut around the knees, slit the hide from that cut up the front each leg. Skin the neck down to the top of the front shoulders. Find a small roundish rock. Place the rock in the loose neck hide on the hair side of the hide. Tide a clove hitch or any knot the will tighten as the rope is pulled. Hook the other end of the rope to a vehicle, tractor or ATV hitch. Be sure the high point you are hanging the deer from is stout. Drive the vehicle away slowly and the hide will come off and there will very little hair if any on the meat.
