Shalom Pastor Dowell,you are on point with proper window installation. I've had new windows installed over the years only to find out later they were not sealed properly. A tell tell sign is it will be very drafty around the windows during the winter. Also you will notice wood rot around the border of the window and the siding on the outside will begin to pucker and rot. You find this happening a lot in new construction homes. These jack leg contractors use cheap material and labor to cut cost for big profit. They will only use bare minimum just to pass inspection to put it on the market.
