Hello Kinksters -

We did it! We all collectively got through the darkest twelve weeks of the year. Congratulations!

What is germinating in you this early spring? What are you excited about?

I go into this season feeling grateful for last month's daily practice cohort. I've recommitted to personal journaling, and am scheduling time to finish drafting and revising my two book projects.

Our next six-week Diving Deep session launches this month to help kinksters delve into personal desire, all the hopes and fears that come with desire, and finding a voice to create the kink scenes and relationships we really want. This intensive is great for new kinksters, but even better for experienced players who feel stuck and want to chart out the next phase of their evolution. I'm also excited about the next few months, when several new Bay Area kink venues open their doors. In addition to our growing roster of online and hybrid classes, we'll have a lot more in person events and playshops returning to San Francisco this year. (And perhaps the return of our play party Wicked Grounds Playground? That's the rumor!)

We really can't do this without you

Kinky debt-slayers have vast power! If you were waiting for the start of the month to help with our ongoing debt-retirement fundraising, now is a great time. Thanks to generous community support, we've managed to get one payoff letter in hand, get a lien removed that was really causing problems for us an our instructors, and get some -- not yet all -- of our operations back on track. Our next concrete goal: if we can raise about $3,400 by the end of the weekend, we can pay off another chunk early that would save us a whopping $1,300 in usury-level fees. That means only $10-$20 each from the folks reading this. Will you help us make it happen?

Saturday, February 3rd

There is a lot of change happening in the San Francisco Bay Area scene, from new venues and playspaces to a rapidly evolving culture. Legendary rope artist Lee Harrington joins us online at 6pm Pacific for Crotch Ropes and Butt Bondage. This was some of the first work of Lee's that I personally put to use, and I'm delighted to have him teaching this material for Wicked Grounds. Advance ticketing is required -- get yours here.

Tuesday, February 6th
