Happy Halloween Week!

We'd love to spend the mornings with you. The café is now open weekday mornings. Our hours are back to 10am - 10pm Monday - Thursday, still closed Fridays for the time being, and open Saturday and Sunday till 8pm now so you can stop in and bide your time before evening play parties at venues like SF Catalyst.

A reminder that we'll have tarot readers and witchy jewelry available at our Witches Brew event Sunday. We have moved this event into the cafe on the ground floor, and ticketing is no longer required, but we gratefully accept your optional donations here for this annual Wicked Grounds Annex fundraising event.

SOJ BDSM Basics returns on first Saturdays! We are back to creating a full day of content for BDSM newcomers (and experienced players!) on first Saturdays! See details below!And a little update on Patreon. If you've been paying attention on social media this week, you've been seeing us REALLY shaking the trees this week -- a little like that huge storm San Francisco had last Sunday. We still have a way to go to get back in the black, so we're going to keep at it through the end of the month. If you haven't subscribed yet, it's a very nice time to put a little something in our Halloween pumpkin.

This Halloween weekend, we are delighted to bring back visiting magick teacher Diana Rajchel, author of Urban Magick. Diana's hybrid class at 2pm PDT will focus on Counter Magick & Hex Twisting. Part thought process and part spell prescription, bring your spiritual puzzles and problems to the class and learn to rethink how you might handle what the troublemakers of the magickal world try to give you. – includes material from Diana's upcoming book, Hex-Twisting: Counter Magick Spells for the Irritated Witch. Speaking of Halloween, we hope you'll join us for a witchy good time at Witches Brew at Wicked Grounds Annex. This annual fundraiser for Wicked Grounds Annex brings you tarot and other oracle readers, witchy artists and artisans, DIY scrying and oracular stations, and stations to honor our beloved dead. We would be delighted if you'd join us! Your $10-$20 suggested donation supports magickal and other programming at Wicked Grounds Annex year round! This event will be held in the cafe and ticketing is not required, but donations are very much appreciated!

We had so much fun at the first Flexibility 4 Life class with Alexandria, and we are excited to bring it back! (I personally attended online and had a blast moving body parts I didn't even know moved! - Mir) This class combines techniques from yoga, Pilates, Feldenkrais, dance and more to get us all fully back in our bodies -- for bondage, for sex, for movement, and just for a more comfortable life. Wednesday, November 3rd

This class is designed to help you create a better physical planning system (based on the Bullet Journal concept), and will discuss everything from general scheduling strategies to dealing with the emotional (and physical) stress to quick and dirty techniques for getting through your tasks faster. Advance ticketing required; you may get yours here! ​

At 7pm, join us in Wicked Grounds Annex Classroom 2 for Rope Bite, a monthly celebration of all things rope. This event is continuing to meet in the Annex for the time being, and we will ask for contributions at the door ($5-$20 suggested donation) to support the space. We will also have plenty of rope and accessories and bondage books available for you both in the café and Annex!

Thursday, November 4th

Online at 6pm PDT/ 9pm EDT, join Tomo as we explore Conflict Resolution Within an Authority Exchange Framework. We will look at the basics of conflict resolution and how that applies, remains the same, and changes within a 24/7 authority exchange from both perspectives. The goal of this class is to increase our conflict resolution skills, and discover what we must focus on in order to find resolution while maintaining an authority exchange dynamic. First Saturdays are BACK in Wicked Grounds Annex!!!At Noon, join us for Welcome to the SF Kink Scene with our own Miriam Green. We'll help you understand everything from local kink culture and finding your own best organizations & events, to the etiquette of attending munches, classes, play parties and more. Pre-ticketing can be done through Eventbrite, or you may get tickets at the door starting at 11:30am.

Then join the Society of Janus from 3-5:30pm for the return of the BDSM Basics Workshop. Are you a novice who wants to start playing in the dungeon? Do you need to build your skill set? Are you interested in learning safe techniques? Or do you just want some time to practice with an expert and get some pointers? Come to our monthly workshop and learn the basics of BDSM play. This month we'll feature rough body play with AnnabelleBlue, caning with Miriam Green, and flogging with Frey. Advance ticketing available directly through SOJ.org, or you may get tickets at the door starting at 2:30pm -- $10 for SOJ members, and $15 for everyone else!

Queer Knitting Cult meets in Wicked Grounds Annex from 1-3pm. This munch is open to all lovers of the fiber arts, with a focus on centering and creating a safe space for queer kinksters. Bring your knitting (or other) projects, and hang out! $10 suggested donation to support the space, NOTAFLOF.

Online at 2pm Pacific/ 5pm Eastern, join Lee Harrington for Kissing Cousins: Age Based Roleplaying and Desires. We will explore personal, cultural, and universal archetypes of parenthood, childhood, and all kinds of kidhood and adultdom to find a voice for our own diverse desires… from naughty teenage girlz (who says kidz are bottoms?) to packs of boy scoutz. Let’s look at pre-verbal, toddler, school kid, teen, and a wide variety of adult roles that we can enjoy for roleplaying or lifestyle identities. Daddies, Mommies, other familial roles will be explored, as well as how to incorporate age play into your other kinks, while we also touch on the land mines of our pasts and helping kidz and adultz who have been emotionally hurt by past kink relationships. From 6-7:30, Friendly Neighborhood Satanists meets in the cafe. It's hosted by First Church of the Morningstar, a loose group of perfectly nice Satanists, devil worshipers, demonolators, occultists, witches, and other walkers of the left-hand path. "We meet to socialize, scheme, discuss magic, read each other's tarot cards, swap occult books, and more! New and curious folks are welcome, we only ask that you be respectful and keep an open mind. All participants are encouraged to bring books, tarot decks, artwork, original writing, zines, grimoires, and similar to show off and share with the group. Remember to support our host, Wicked Grounds, if you can!"
