Hey ya'll! Here's the (late) process and high res for April, let me know what ya'll think!

The technique for this one is something I've been experimenting with for a while. First, I make sure the divisions of the page are interesting, then use that as a base for a sketch. I then divide the image into 3 values, black, a mid tone and a light tone. I use clipping masks over each of these to keep the shapes nice and clean. Within these shapes I'm very messy with the color, it gives it a more organic look in my opinion which is something I'm always aiming for. After I've got the colors I want down and there's enough variation, I just do a whole lot of polishing. I won't be using this method going forward but it taught me some really important ways to plan a piece out that I will carry into my other work.
