Dupe Item (Seasonal, Cosmetic) (Patreon)

This is a seasonal reminder of a mini-dupe I post around this time annually with an unusual twist this year. 

During the Lunar Festival there is a specific unique item available in Moonglade - for most players the easiest way to get to Moonglade is to complete the lunar festival intro quest and use the teleport item.

The item is "Elune's Candle". It shoots a firework at a specific player or character and has 50 charges. This is a unique item-only one can be carried. It is sold by Valadar Starsong at co-ordinates 54 35. If you post the item to your alt at the nearby mailbox (52 40) you can purchase another. You can effectively buy as many as you wish this way.

The item can be sold on the auction house. Later in the year these are valuable and can sell for thousands of gold or even more since few knew how to store more than one of them, and supply is limited. 

You can do this in both retail and the various incarnations of classic wow.

SOD Glitch

In Season Of Discovery there is currently a glitch with the item-it can be used without consuming charges on any player not in line of sight.
