Raw Gold Trick (Retail) To Extend Gold Returns From Dungeons/Raid Farming (Patreon)

At co-ordinates 37, 37 in the uninstanced Seat Of The Triumvirate, Eredath (formerly Mac'ree) on Argus there is a number of ethereal mobs scattered around the steps to the uninstanced version of the Seat.

These mobs drop around 50 gold typically but the average is about 70-80 due to certain higher value vendor items that drop infrequently*. Killing all the mobs takes only 30 seconds to one minute depending on your class and your character's mobility. The mobs re-spawn every few minutes.

This is interesting to people who like to farm old dungeons and raids for raw gold and hit instance lockout. By the use of an alt stationed at the Seat you can run a dungeon on your main and log into this character at the end of every run, killing all the mobs in the area and then going back to your main. This effectively increases the value and duration of your gold farming before instance lockout. 

You'd do something like this:

1. Open two wow clients.

2. Farm a dungeon on your main character, eg Freehold.

3. Log into your alt at Eredath with the second client. Just log-in directly on the alt, do not log out on your main-your main will be disconnected. 

4. Kill Eredath mobs. 

5. Log-in on the first client on your main and farm Freehold again. 

6. Repeat from 2. 

*This is excellent for raw gold. Obviously, greater returns can be had from auction house based farms. However I still cover raw gold farming as a significant number of patreons have requested this.
