A round-up of some  interesting but more niche glitches and developments that have occurred in 9.2.5. but for various reasons standalone articles were not appropriate.

1. Runecrafting Gold Glitch

A patreon who wishes to remain anonymous contributed the following:

"Potential gold oriented bug: if you begin crafting runecarving items at rank 1, you can continue to level up with that initial craft at the rank 1 cost. Got to rank 4 with a rank 1 cost basis before my bags filled up."

2. Alterac Valley Glitch:

Que into Alterac Valley in mercenary mode and normally hostile NPC's are friendly. This enables healers to heal other players fighting the faction bosses without taking any damage or being interrupted. Priests can have enormous fun with mind control here.

3.  Cross-faction PVP glitch

This one is similar to the above glitch but different in execution.

Accepting a cross-faction invite while queing for arena or battleground causes you to be hostile to your team mates when you enter the arena. This makes for some very fast completion in solo shuffle, especially for players on the weekly solo shuffle quests, allowing you to pick up conquest gear very fast.

4. Super-powered Pets In Mythic Dungeons? (No known reproducible method)

A number of reports have appeared on the official bug report forums about large player pets in mythic dungeons doing hugely disproportionate damage. Players speculate this has come from exploit of anima powers used in Torghast.

I have reverse-engineered how to do this within Torghast and published it in an article here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/64812165 . However nothing I have tried seems to work outside Torghast. I thought it would be a good idea to throw this out to the patreon community.

5. Party Sync Change Didn't Happen.

Finally there was a lot of excitement here when the 9.2.5 notes were revealed stating that party sync would allow 50-60 players to gain full experience. This has not (yet) happened. There has been no obvious change. I will alert players if and when anything does change.

Can you go into more detail about the tune cloth glitch?

Archvaldors Warcraft Hacks Premium

Sadly no as I haven't done any crafting for months and I'm behind the loop on that one. Perhaps the guy who contributed the play would be kind enough to contact you privately?

2 and 3 sound very fun. For number 4, can you receive the anima power without a pet summoned? Maybe if you select the power with no current pet, go to dungeon, then summon pet it will apply the buff. I havent played with that bug at all - just throwing out an idea

Also great post - ty Arch

In the bug report thread about pet damage, they included a log. The log shows no damage or health increases for buffs/debuffs, but if you check the pets health it's at an insane 1.7M hp. The pet is doing around 50x damage and has 50x hp. I'm not sure what is even capable of this, because even torghast doesn't get that stupid.

Versatile Vittles stacks so yeah it can go that high in twisting corridor. Multiple classes were mentioned though so its not the buff that is the issue, its the smuggling out of Torghast.

Thomas Levens

The only warlock buffs are a 500% increase to main demon, and 100% increase to pets in general. Which would result in 10x damage, this person managed to have 50x. They also summoned the pet in the dungeon and the pet had no buffs/debuffs. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/6VxGbpyRHcWTD72Y#fight=last&translate=true&position=43862&type=auras&view=events&source=11 Either there was/is a bugged state for some torghast power that you could stack, or the exploit is coming from somewhere else. I've tried a lot of different methods for getting that buff out before and after patch, so unless there is something new, It's definitely strange.

There's an anima power which doubles your pet power each level, I'm guessing that is the one. Very unusual something like this isn't trivial to reverse-engineer.

Thomas Levens

That anima power caps at 500% increased damage. It's 100% per level up to 5 levels, you can do the trick where you bring dismiss pet and bring it back in without having the power but it doesn't function at all. I'll mess with this some more but it seems more likely that someone had some bugs with this early and it was fixed.

The cost basis in materials is different between different ranks, increasing as you go higher. However, if you get materials based on rank 1 and craft the correct amount to max the recipe (every craft gives the same amount of experience, but will cost more if you stop/start your craft at a different rank), you use the amount of materials required for rank 1 all the way until max rank instead of having to use more and more for experience. It's a marginal savings per recipe, but would allow you to max any given profession's entire runecarving catalog much cheaper. Imagine going to a new server, using this method, and actually see profits sooner.

For the Crafting glitch. It is still cheaper to just use the proper gear crafting lvls instead of crafting at lvl 1. It only gives you 25xp per item crafted at tier 1, tier 2 gives 50xp per, tier 3 75xp. 1 tier 3 crafted item is less mats than 3 tier 1 items. So it doesn't make sense to craft lvl 1 all the way to lvl 4. You will spend more gold. (I just tested it to see)

That must've been changed, wasn't the case as of posting.

Have found a way to get the powers outside of Torghast run through Jailers gauntlet and stockpile the anime orbs from the vendor and when you get to floor 8 take off all your gear and pull the last mob, before the mob hits you Alt F4 out of the game and wait 5 Mins. when you log back in the orbs are still in your inventory but this is as far as I have gotten so far because if you leave torghast they de-spawn (tried summon to instance) also can't use orbs while in the lobby says you need to be in torghast. .

Archvaldors Warcraft Hacks Premium

Ingenious and interesting as this is...we've known of ways to take the orbs out of Torghast since the start of SL-the problem being they never activate outside of the Torghast zone. So I would not imagine this is not the way to go.
