Blizzard's implementation of the new cross-faction system allows players to join a cross-faction group (eg one horde, one alliance) through the social panel.

These groups are not supposed to be able to interact in-world but there are certain exceptions Blizzard have neglected.

Blizzard have somehow allowed a Horde player to resurrect an alliance player. This means that with a partner, or a second account character, you can resurrect an opposite faction player in Orgrimmar, Stormwind or anywhere indefinitely, effectively making them immortal outside of instances.

This is gamebreaking for world pvp. It can also be used for economic sabotage, for example by preventing the use of the auction house. This can be used to restrict the supply of items to the auction house and manipulate markets.

Can only imagine the implications with a raid of 40, with one of them cross-faction. The one cross-faction player infinitely rezing the other 39.

Is there a way to achieve this on your own if you only have access to 1 paid WoW account?

In theory I think you can rez your character if you can get two characters on the same account in a group somehow (eg premade group finder)- in practice I suspect it is going to be too much of a headache even if possible. Even with multiple paid accounts on the same battle.net I haven't found a way to cross-faction yet (if such a thing exists).

Here's something I tested that worked for grinding honor, though Blizzard has implemented so sort of limiting on wpvp honor gains I'll explain at the end. 2 paid accounts 1 trial or paid account Create M+ group w/ Horde level 60 (name it something you can easily search for) Join M+ group w/ Ally level 60 Invite trial/paid character from Horde level 60 (to do honor farm use a character that can res) Bring all 3 somewhere in the world. Horde 60 leaves party, leaving the Ally 60 and trial/paid res character in a group Horde PVP on, Ally PVP on Horde grinds kills on the Ally while the res character spams res. My findings were that I was able to gain absurd honor quickly ~1000/2000 in about 30 minutes, but then I stopped receiving honor entirely. Also of course Horde/Ally can be switched to farm kills as an Ally main. This is easily multiboxable and automatable :)

Thanks Mark. I am a bit slow today, after re-reading this. I am not sure how this is different from the "traditional" method of cheesing honor with alliance priest rezzing victim while Horde player kills victim. You see this outside the wod garrison sometimes. What am I missing here?

Ah sorry yeah it isn't really unique from that strategy - just that you can use horde characters to do it now
