In Bastion at co-ordinates 46,18 there is a pool where turtles hyper-spawn. This means that if you kill the mobs of a given type in the area one will appear at a random location within that area.

The name of the turtle mob is glimmerpool razorshell. You may want to create a macro /tar glimmerpool razorshell as it isn't always immediately obvious where the new spawn is. You also want to kill the restless etherwyrms. Avoid the suntouched mistwalkers and the true blue carp, their drops are not interesting.

Currently skinning is very rewarding offering at least 30K an hour for a dedicated skinner. The price of the main drop desolate leather has tanked significantly, however the price of callous and especially heavy callous hide (worth 2K on my realm) has stabilized. Skinning items are selling very fast for me, often in hours.

At this time there seems to be no awareness of this farm-although there are similar publicly known spots nearby. I had this to myself on the realms I checked.

Because the turtles are farmed in a pool some kind of water-walking is helpful though not essential. I would get water walking equipment for your mount or a water walking potion. If you really want to make the most of this get feast of the fishes + crispy bacon, these are legion food items which turn you into a fish with 400% movement speed. You can get up to 50K an hour with these items, though they can be awkward to obtain.

According to patreon Michael (see below) these are level 60 only mobs, they do not scale with level.

EDIT: I tested this again in response to Patreon comments that they were not getting fast re-spawns. I found that

a) most of the time I was getting hyper-spawning turtles as before.

 b) a partial explanation for the problems patreons may be having is the turtle that spawns at 45.2, 15.7 - he can't be seen that well from below and the tar macro doesn't always detect him. You have to jump up the rock shelf a bit to kill him.

c) Occasionally there was a slight delay in turtle re-spawning, which tends to vindicate the statements of patreons who were claiming this wasn't true hyper-spawn, and this wasn't happening to me before. So my guess at this time is that, as with several public skinning spots, Blizzard nerfed this by adding a random turtle somewhere inaccessible.

This is still a pretty good farm, a solo player will never run out of etherwyrms and turtles within range-I made quite a lot of gold while re-testing it, but is probably not appropriate for a group.
