The following exploit has several stages and is very easy to mess up so I'd keep this article open while you are doing it to avoid frustration. You'll need:

A. To have progressed in Legion past the point where a N'aaru appears in your class order hall allowing you to replay the Black Temple scenario from Illidan's perspective.

B. To have both a Narcissa's Mirror  https://www.wowhead.com/item=140231/narcissas-mirror

and Magic Mirror https://www.wowhead.com/item=127696/magic-pet-mirror

-these require a lot of pet battling, though it isn't that hard to get these items with alts and some decent pets. These items have many other uses so I would recommend grinding the shiny pet charms necessary in order to get them if you have any interest in visual exploits.

To activate this exploit:

1. Enter the Illidan scenario via the class order hall N'aaru.

2. Disconnect using alt + f4.

3. Relog. You should now be in the scenario dressed in bc-era gear.

4. Summon any non-combat pet.

5. After about a minute your character will turn invisible.

6. Use Narcissa's Mirror on your pet.

7. Leave the Instance group.

8. Unequip your weapon.

9. Use Magic Mirror.

10. You should now be fully invisible.

The invisibility is not as powerful as you might think because your nameplates still show. On the other hand enemy players do have a much harder time killing you in pvp with this "disguise" since it is difficult to work out exactly where you are at any given moment. For example, it is much harder to work out an invisible player +nameplates  is behind you rather than in front of you than with a visible player.

Additionally, when you use the s.e.l.f.i.e camera while invisibility is active you'll find there is a positional glitch which causes your camera to zoom out infinitely. This is very useful in pvp battlegrounds like Arathi Basin because it allows you to see the whole map at the press of a key.

For videos it makes for some spectacular and breathtaking shots of wow scenery, which in no-flying areas are impossible to get any other way except via private servers.
