A while back while experimenting I discovered the following oddity:

If a battleground que pops and you die, it has no effect other than damaging your gear. You go to your battleground, and whenever you leave you will return to the same spot in-world where you died, now alive.

You can test this easily: que for battleground, when it pops, fly high into the air, dismount, now enter battleground. Leave immediately unless you actually want to play the bg, and you will be back in-world alive.

This can be of some use while levelling, but I thought it was mostly an impractical curiousity.

However, it occurred to me that this principle could allow players to farm each other, or perhaps their own alts, with multi-boxing.

First, battleground ques are a bit random and unpredictable for our purposes. It turns out that scenarios or LFR raids can be used in the same way however.

To test this I did the follow. I used two characters, A and B, alliance and horde, on different accounts, on different clients.

1.I took the characters to the pandas in the Seat of Knowledge at the top of Mogu'Shan palace which allow you to enter a MOP LFR raid or scenario.

2. I enabled pvp for both. I stripped character B of all gear.

3. On character I spoke to Lorewalker Fu to enter a scenario with Character A, and then attacked character B.

4. Controlling Character B I also spoke to Lorewalker Fu.

5. B dies from A's attack, however the option to enter the scenario flashes up. I entered the scenario with the (dead) B - who returns to life on entering the scenario.

6. A is now awarded 10 honour for killing B. However he attracted guards which are difficult to get rid of. This is why you enter the scenario before attacking-it enables you to escape into an instance.

7. Leave the LFR groups both characters have just joined and return to the Seat Of Knowledge. Both will be alive and without any kind of penalty.

8. Re-enable combat for both characters and repeat the process.

This is not quite instant because you have to go through two loading screens to reset the characters, this is very dependent on the speed of your set-up.

This strategy is most favourable for those using some kind of automation and/or multi-boxing.
