The item "Universal Language Repository" sells for an average of over 100k on the auction house. It is an 9% drop from the mob Mandrogaraster in Ashran.

The mo location is here http://www.wowhead.com/npc=83683/mandragoraster.

The extremely high value of this item is due to the current inaccessibility of Ashran and the nature of the item.

The item itself forms part of the device which creates an auction house for the garrison. This is incredibly useful because the garrison has much less lag and other external issues than the auction houses located in cities - something which serious ah players prize highly. For this reason these components of the item are much sought after.

The way Ashran works at the moment is this: you have to have a minimum of 20 players on each side or the game simply closes and ques go on forever. For this reason it is essential to que at peak times on week days and/or weekends to have a reasonable chance at actually getting in.

There's an exploit here that's very simple. Simply que on all your alts and either switch clients or use a dc macro - for a short while they won't be removed from the que. This can make the difference between a que popping or not.

Once in Ashran you have access to a small % chance of acquiring a component for the garrison auction house, but you have the best earnings per hour simply camping Mandrogaraster, who spawns every 20 minutes.

You may wish to purchase the item "feast of the fishes" if you are a ranged class with poor gear, the mob is quite a tough elite and I managed to die on my mage with ilvl 930. The main problem is that there are a ton of mobs around that make kiting difficult. The fishes item turns you into a fast moving fish which trivializes the fight, allowing you to go into open water where there are no mobs and making you much faster than Mandragoraster.

The average value of this farm currently is around 30,000 gold per hour. However, there's an additional issue which could make this item much more valuable.

Ashran is being retired shortly. It will not exist in BFA. Consequently there will be no further supply of the garrison auction house items from that source.

If Blizzard do not provide another means to access the items, then their supply will become extremely limited dramatically pushing up the price

Now, it is impossible to say what Blizzard will do unless they issue a formal statement. They could remove the items from the game altogether or have them sell for some nominal vendor trash value. But, generally speaking they don't do that with this type of item. There is risk involved here: but calculated risk indicating a very advantageous proposition.

There is vague talk of Ashran returning as a bg in the future-whether this happens or not that suggests to me strongly that the developers will not deal with the garrison ah parts issue, as they expect it to be resolved with the transformation of Ashran into a bg-whether or not this actually happens.

I personally will be farming the component until BFA: this is quite an exciting gamble. If you don't like RNG in your gold farming however I would stay away from this one or just farm the component and sell it before BFA. This one is like low-level bitcoin investment.
